CIVIL UNIONS

I am a licensed Civil Union Celebrant and would be delighted to perform your ceremony for you.

I would treat the ceremony in the same manner as a marriage ceremony, it would just be worded differently, but in no way would it take anything away from the special moment that it is for you as a couple and the commitment that you are making to each other.

Planning
Before you choose a celebrant I think it is wise to come and meet me and perhaps one or two others as I believe it is really important to feel comfortable and at ease with the person who is going to perform this ceremony for you. All celebrants will deliver a service to you but human nature being what it is; you know when you gel with someone.

We will sit down and I’ll get all the details from you and talk about yourselves and what you would like and then if you decide to use me as a celebrant I will write your ceremony for you.

Fee
My fee for an Auckland Civil Union is $400.00. This is for my total service, i.e. meetings, emails, phone calls, writing your service, rehearsal and the ceremony itself and use of my sound equipment for the ceremony if required. I consider the Auckland area to be from Albany in the North to Drury in the South, Maraetai in the East to Kumeu in the West. Outside of this perimeter I would charge a travel fee.

I have a wireless microphone and speaker if needed which also plays CD’s.
